Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet won against Italian wildcard Jennifer Ruggeri 6-3, 6-4 to move into the last 16 of the Parma Ladies Open on Monday.
Paquet, ranked No 188, will play the winner of the match between German Noma Noha Akugue and Slovenian Kaja Juvan, the No 6 seed, next.
