Spaniard Aliona Bolsova, the No 8 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Parma Ladies Open by winning against Italian qualifier Dalila Spiteri 6-1, 7-6 (1) on Monday.
Bolsova, ranked No 115, will face the winner of the match between Pole qualifier Katarzyna Kawa and Latvian Darja Semenistaja next.
