Palermo Open: Zhang reaches second round
Shuai Zhang beat Rebeka Masarova 7-6 (3), 7-6 (7) on Monday evening and will face Italian Jasmine Paolini in the next round
Chinese Shuai Zhang, the No 3 seed, won against Spanish qualifier Rebeka Masarova 7-6 (3), 7-6 (7) to advance to the second round of the Palermo Open at A.S.D. Country Time Club in Palerme on Monday evening.
Zhang, ranked No 36, will face Italian Jasmine Paolini next.
