Sara Sorribes Tormo defeated Leolia Jeanjean 6-0, 6-2 on Wednesday evening. She’ll face No 7 seed Anna Bondar in the next round
Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, the No 4 seed, won against French qualifier Leolia Jeanjean 6-0, 6-2 to advance to the last eight of the Palermo Open at A.S.D. Country Time Club in Palerme on Wednesday evening.
Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 41, will play No 7 seed Anna Bondar next.
The Spaniard defeated Romanian Ana Bogdan (2-6, 6-4, 6-2) in the previous round. Jeanjean, ranked No 151, won against Swiss Ylena In-Albon (6-2, 6-4).
