Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet moved into the second round of the Palermo Open by beating Chinese Saisai Zheng 6-3, 6-3 at A.S.D. Country Time Club.
Paquet, ranked No 115, will play the winner of the match between Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle and German Tatjana Maria, the No 8 seed, next.
