Palermo Open: Cristian moves into second round untroubled

Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the No 7 seed, won against Argentinian Julia Riera 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Palermo Open at A.S.D. Country Time Club on Tuesday night.

Cristian, ranked No 66, will face the winner of the match between Italian Lucia Bronzetti and Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot next.
