American qualifier Alycia Parks caused a huge upset at the Ostrava Open on Tuesday when she beat former world No 1 Karolina Pliskova 6-0, 7-6 (3) at the Ostravar Aréna on Tuesday evening.
Parks, ranked No 144, will play No 4 seed Maria Sakkari next.
