The WTA has set the stage for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, the concluding women’s event of the 2024 season on tour, by announcing the star-studded line ups of the 12 participating nations. The knockout event will run from November 13-20 inside the Jose Maria Martin Carpena in Malaga, Spain.

The competing countries include Australia, Canada (defending champions), Czechia, Great Britain, Germany and Italy. Also, teams from Japan, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and the United States of America will add to the fierce fights.

Among all the challengers, world No 3 Jessica Pegula, four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka and former US Open champ Emma Raducanu will headline the prominent event.

Conchita Martinez, the former world No 2 from Spain, will oversee the operations as the tournament director. Martinez anticipates a great show from the competitors carrying their respective flags in Malaga.

“This is a stellar line up of some of the world’s best players, and I can’t wait to watch them battle it out in Malaga in November,” Martinez said. “As a player, there is no greater honour than representing your nation, and every player who puts on their team’s colours in November will be giving everything they have to win this prestigious title for their country.”
