Osaka Open: Andreescu loses to Minnen in first round

Belgian Greet Minnen reached the second round of the Osaka Open by defeating Canadian wildcard Bianca Andreescu 6-3, 6-0 at the Utsubo Tennis Center on Tuesday.

Minnen, ranked No 95, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the No 7 seed, and Russian Erika Andreeva next.
