Osaka Open: Bogdan continues Bouzkova’s struggles with straight-set win
Ana Bogdan won against Marie Bouzkova 6-0, 7-6 (5) on Thursday. She’ll face Dutch qualifier Suzan Lamens in the next round

Romanian qualifier Ana Bogdan moved into the quarter-finals of the Osaka Open by winning against No 4 seed Marie Bouzkova 6-0, 7-6 (5) at the Utsubo Tennis Center on Thursday.
Bogdan, ranked No 111, will face Dutch qualifier Suzan Lamens next.
Ahead of her victory, the Romanian beat Russian Veronika Kudermetova (6-2, 6-2).
Bouzkova, ranked No 43, won against Japanese Moyuka Uchijima (7-6 (6), 2-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Osaka tournament.
