Teichmann, ranked No 77, will play Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle next.
The Swiss defeated Mexican Renata Zarazua (6-3, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Andreeva, ranked No 147, beat American Ann Li (6-0, 6-3).
