Swiss wildcard Belinda Bencic reached the final of the Open In Arte Angers Loire by winning against Dominika Salkova 6-1, 6-2 on Saturday.

Bencic will face American Alycia Parks, the No 3 seed, next. This is the Swiss’ first final since coming back to the tour last month after becoming a mother in April this year.

The Swiss beat Romanian qualifier Patricia Maria Tig (6-4, 6-1), Georgian Mariam Bolkvadze (6-1, 6-1) and Frenchwoman Oceane Dodin, the No 6 seed (6-3, 6-1) ahead of her victory. This is the third tournament of her comeback from maternity leave.

Earlier in the tournament, Salkova, ranked No 166, defeated Austrian qualifier Sinja Kraus (6-2, 6-3), French qualifier Carole Monnet (6-2, 6-3) and American Varvara Lepchenko (6-2, 2-6, 6-2).
