Argentinian qualifier Paula Ormaechea advanced to the last 16 of the Open delle Puglie by winning against Romanian qualifier Andreea Rosca 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 on Monday.
Ormaechea, ranked No 240, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Harmony Tan, the No 7 seed, and Italian wildcard Matilde Paoletti next.
