Open d’Angers: Blinkova makes second round

Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 6 seed, won against Swiss Joanne Zuger 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Open d’Angers at Arena Loire in Trélazé on Monday night.

Blinkova, ranked No 80, will face the winner of the match between Dane Clara Tauson and German wildcard Sabine Lisicki next.
