American Varvara Lepchenko reached the last 16 of the Open BLS de Limoges by edging out French wildcard Margaux Rouvroy 6-3, 6-7 (3), 6-4 on Monday.
Lepchenko, ranked No 134, will face the winner of the match between Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse and Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 4 seed, next.
