German Tamara Korpatsch moved into the last 16 of the Open BLS de Limoges by defeating Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the top seed, 6-4, 7-5 on Wednesday evening.

Korpatsch, ranked No 172, will play lucky loser Manon Leonard next.
