Open BLS de Limoges: Jacquemot cruises into quarter-finals

Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot beat Russian Anastasia Zakharova, the No 8 seed, 6-1, 6-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Open BLS de Limoges on Thursday.
Jacquemot, ranked No 146, will face the winner of the match between German Tamara Korpatsch and French lucky loser Manon Leonard next.
Ahead of her victory, the 21-year-old Frenchman won against Russian Anastasia Tikhonova (6-4, 6-4).
Zakharova, ranked No 112, defeated French qualifier Yasmine Mansouri (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round.
