Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the No 7 seed, advanced to the last 8 of the Open BLS de Limoges by beating Georgian Mariam Bolkvadze 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday evening.
Golubic, ranked No 109, will play the winner of the match between French wildcard Carole Monnet and Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the second seed, next.
In the previous round, the Swiss won against Russian lucky loser Ekaterina Makarova (6-4, 6-1).
Bolkvadze, ranked No 191, won against Romanian qualifier Patricia Maria Tig (6-4, 6-1) during the 32.
