Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the top seed, won against Latvian Darja Semenistaja in straight sets (6-3, 6-4) to move into the last 8 of the Open BLS de Limoges on Thursday.
Cocciaretto, ranked No. 46, will play the winner of the match between American Mccartney Kessler and Erika Andreeva, the No. 7 seed, next.
The 22-year-old Italian beat French wildcard Amandine Hesse (1-6, 6-2, 6-3) in the previous round.
In the 32, Semenistaja, ranked No 144, defeated German Noma Noha Akugue (4-6, 6-4, 6-3).
