Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 5 seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Open BLS de Limoges by winning against French wildcard Lois Boisson 7-6 (3), 6-2 on Friday.
Bucsa, ranked No 82, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Harmony Tan and Russian Anna Blinkova, the second seed, next.
Ahead of her win today, the Spaniard beat French lucky loser Nahia Berecoechea (6-3, 6-1) and French wildcard Audrey Albie (6-3, 6-4).
Boisson, ranked No 341, defeated Kristina Mladenovic (6-2, 6-2) and American lucky loser Alana Smith (6-4, 6-0) earlier in the week.
