Open BLS de Limoges: Blinkova reaches semi-finals
Anna Blinkova edged out Harmony Tan 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (3) on Friday and will face Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Russian Anna Blinkova, the second seed, reached the semi-finals of the Open BLS de Limoges by edging out Frenchwoman Harmony Tan 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (3) on Friday.
Blinkova, ranked No 50, will play Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 5 seed, next.
The Russian defeated Ukrainian qualifier Veronika Podrez (6-3, 6-1) and Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova (6-4, 6-0) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds, Tan, ranked No 245, won against Hungarian Fanny Stollar (6-3, 6-1) and No 6 seed Alize Cornet (W/O).
