Russian Erika Andreeva, the No 5 seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Open BLS de Limoges by defeating Liechtensteiner Kathinka von Deichmann 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 on Thursday.
Andreeva, ranked No 79, will face Swiss Celine Naef next.
Ahead of her victory, the 20-year-old Russian won against qualifier Ipek Oz (7-6 (5), 6-4).
Von Deichmann, ranked No 177, edged out Russian Polina Kudermetova (7-6 (7), 3-6, 7-6 (6)) in the previous round.
