Nottingham Open: Stefanini books spot in last 16
Lucrezia Stefanini edged out Lin Zhu 7-6 (4), 3-6, 7-5 on Monday and will play the winner of the match between qualifier Emily Appleton and Australian qualifier Kimberly Birrell in the next round

Italian qualifier Lucrezia Stefanini reached the last 16 of the Nottingham Open by edging out Chinese Lin Zhu, the No 7 seed, 7-6 (4), 3-6, 7-5 at Nottingham Tennis Centre on Monday.
Stefanini, ranked No 153, will play the winner of the match between qualifier Emily Appleton and Australian qualifier Kimberly Birrell next.
