Nottingham Open: Mandlik advances to last 16
Elizabeth Mandlik edged out Viktoriya Tomova 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (5) on Tuesday afternoon. She’ll face the winner of the match between American Madison Brengle and Italian Camila Giorgi, the No 7 seed, in the next round

American qualifier Elizabeth Mandlik moved into the last 16 of the Nottingham Open by edging out Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (5) at Nottingham Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Mandlik, ranked No 110, will face the winner of the match between American Madison Brengle and Italian Camila Giorgi, the No 7 seed, next.
