Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova defeated Turk Ipek Oz 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 to reach the last 8 of the Nordea Open at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Wednesday evening.
Tomova, ranked No 112, will play Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu next.
Ahead of her victory, the Bulgarian won against Swede wildcard Jacqueline Cabaj Awad (6-3, 6-2).
Oz, ranked No 164, won against Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 8 seed (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Swedish Open.
