Nordea Open: Peterson into the quarter-finals
Rebecca Peterson won against Leolia Jeanjean 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 on Wednesday and will play American Lauren Davis, the No 6 seed, in the next round
Swede Rebecca Peterson, the No 4 seed, won against Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 to reach the last eight of the Nordea Open at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Wednesday.
Peterson, ranked No 96, will play American Lauren Davis, the No 6 seed, next.
The Swede beat Norwegian Malene Helgo (6-4, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Swedish Open, Jeanjean, ranked No 143, won against Russian Varvara Flink (6-2, 6-3).
