Nordea Open: Top seed Navarro into semi-finals
Emma Navarro won against Tamara Zidansek 6-0, 6-4 on Thursday and will play Louisa Chirico in the next round

American Emma Navarro, the top seed, won against Slovenian Tamara Zidansek 6-0, 6-4 to move into the last four of the Nordea Open at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Thursday.
Navarro, ranked No 55, will play Louisa Chirico next.
The 22-year-old American defeated Russian Polina Kudermetova (6-3, 6-2) and Swede Mirjam Bjorklund (7-6 (2), 1-6, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Swedish Open, Zidansek, ranked No 145, beat Emily Appleton (6-3, 6-2) and Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 5 seed (6-2, 6-1).
