Su Jeong Jang advanced to the last 8 of the Nordea Open by winning against Russian Irina Khromacheva 6-0, 6-1 at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Wednesday.
Jang, ranked No 155, will face the winner of the match between Swede wildcard Caijsa Hennemann and Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 5 seed, next.
Su Jeong Jang defeated Frenchwoman Clara Burel, the No 3 seed (6-2, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Swedish Open, Khromacheva, ranked No 328, beat Thai Peangtarn Plipuech (6-0, 6-0).
