Nordea Open: Danilovic makes final

Serb Olga Danilovic, the No 8 seed, won against Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the second seed, 6-4, 0-6, 6-2 to move into the final of the Nordea Open at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Friday.
Danilovic, ranked No 94, will face top seed Emma Navarro next.
The 22-year-old Serb beat Hungarian Reka Luca Jani (0-6, 6-3, 6-0), Swede wildcard Nellie Taraba Wallberg (6-0, 6-2) and Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 9 seed (6-3, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Swedish Open, Putintseva, ranked No 56, defeated Swede wildcard Lisa Zaar (6-3, 6-4), American Katie Volynets (6-0, 1-0 ret.) and Spaniard Aliona Bolsova (2-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4).
