Spaniard Aliona Bolsova won against Slovenian Polona Hercog 6-3, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the Nordea Open at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Wednesday evening.
Bolsova, ranked No 118, will face Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the second seed, next.
The Spaniard edged out Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl, the No 6 seed (3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (4)) in the previous round of the Swedish Open.
During the 32 of the Swedish Open, Polona Hercog defeated Swede wildcard Bella Bergkvist Larsson (6-2, 6-2).
