Chinese wildcard Wang Xiyu reached the second round of the Ningbo Open by winning against Russian qualifier Kamilla Rakhimova 6-2, 6-0 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Monday.
Wang, ranked No 98, will face the winner of the match between Russian Diana Shnaider and Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 8 seed, next.
