Katerina Siniakova moved into the second round of the Ningbo Open by beating Pole Magda Linette 6-2, 6-4 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Siniakova, ranked No 42, will face No 5 seed Daria Kasatkina next.
