Ningbo Open: Putintseva beats Seidel to reach quarter-finals
The Kazakh will face the winner of the match between Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 5 seed, and Katerina Siniakova in the next round

Kazakhstan’s Yulia Putintseva moved into the quarter-finals of the Ningbo Open by defeating German lucky loser Ella Seidel 6-4, 6-4 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Putintseva, ranked No 32, will face the winner of the match between Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 5 seed, and Katerina Siniakova next.
The Kazakh won against American Caroline Dolehide (6-2, 6-0) ahead of her win today.
In the previous round of the tournament, Seidel, ranked No 121, won against Liechtensteiner lucky loser Kathinka von Deichmann (6-3, 6-1).
