Karolina Muchova reached the quarter-finals of the Ningbo Open by winning against Romanian lucky loser Jaqueline Cristian 6-2, 6-1 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Thursday.
Muchova, ranked No 29, will play Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 7 seed, next.
Karolina Muchova beat Australian qualifier Olivia Gadecki (6-3, 7-5) ahead of her victory.
