Karolina Muchova moved into the quarter-finals of the Ningbo Open by defeating Romanian lucky loser Jaqueline Cristian 6-2, 6-1 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Thursday.
Muchova, ranked No 29, will play Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Ningbo tournament, Karolina Muchova won against Australian qualifier Olivia Gadecki (6-3, 7-5).
