German Tamara Korpatsch moved into the last 16 of the Ningbo Open by winning against qualifier Jodie Burrage 6-2, 7-6 (1) on Tuesday.
Korpatsch, ranked No 107, will face the winner of the match between Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the top seed, and Frenchwoman Diane Parry next.
