Ningbo Open: Korpatsch reaches second round

German lucky loser Tamara Korpatsch moved into the second round of the Ningbo Open by edging out Hungarian lucky loser Anna Bondar 6-7 (4), 7-6 (6), 6-4 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Monday night.
Korpatsch, ranked No 129, will play the winner of the match between Russian Mirra Andreeva and American qualifier Varvara Lepchenko next.
