Ningbo Open: Kasatkina sets up quarter-final clash against Putintseva
The Russian won against Katerina Siniakova 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the second round on Wednesday

Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 5 seed, won against Katerina Siniakova 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 to move into the last eight of the Ningbo Open at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Wednesday.
The win improves Kasatkina’s record against Siniakova to five wins against one loss. It was also her 36th match win of the season.
Kasatkina, ranked No 11, will face Kazakh Yulia Putintseva next.
In the previous round of the tournament, Siniakova, ranked No 42, defeated Pole Magda Linette (6-2, 6-4) while Kasatkina had a bye in the opening round.
