Ningbo Open: Kalinskaya battles past lucky loser Hon to reach second round

Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 7 seed, advanced to the second round of the Ningbo Open by edging out Australian lucky loser Priscilla Hon 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center.
Kalinskaya, ranked No 12, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Yue Yuan and Australian qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic next.
