Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean, the No 8 seed, moved into the last eight of the MundoTenis Open by defeating Serb Nina Stojanovic 6-1, 6-1 on Wednesday.
Jeanjean, ranked No 162, will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Valeriya Strakhova and Brazilian Carolina M. Alves next.
