Mumbai Open: Uchijima into second round
Moyuka Uchijima beat Carole Monnet 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday. She’ll play the winner of the match between Hungarian Dalma Galfi and Australian Kimberly Birrell, the No 7 seed, in the next round

Japanese Moyuka Uchijima moved into the second round of the Mumbai Open by winning against Frenchwoman Carole Monnet 6-3, 6-3 at the Cricket Club of India on Tuesday.
Uchijima, ranked No 151, will play the winner of the match between Hungarian Dalma Galfi and Australian Kimberly Birrell, the No 7 seed, next.
