Mumbai Open: Semenistaja through to second round

Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 6 seed, reached the second round of the Mumbai Open by winning against Hungarian Panna Udvardy 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 at the Cricket Club of India on Monday night.
Semenistaja, ranked No 121, will play the winner of the match between Israeli qualifier Lina Glushko and French qualifier Amandine Hesse next.
