Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open: Linette makes second round

Pole Magda Linette moved into the second round of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open by winning against Mexican qualifier Renata Zarazua 6-4, 7-6 (6) at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City on Tuesday.

Linette, ranked No 38, will play the winner of the match between Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the No 6 seed, and American qualifier Sofia Kenin next.
