American Peyton Stearns reached the last 16 of the Morocco Open by beating Hungarian Panna Udvardy (6-1, 6-1) in Rabat on Monday afternoon.
Stearns, ranked No 69, will now face the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 5 seed, and Spanish lucky loser Angela Fita Boluda next.
