Morocco Open: Grabher into semi-finals as top seed Trevsian retires
The Austrian will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Julia Riera and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the No 6 seed, in the next round
Austrian Julia Grabher moved into the semi-finals of the Morocco Open when Italian Martina Trevisan, the top seed, retired at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc in Rabat on Thursday.
Grabher, ranked No 74, led 6-3 when Trevisan, ranked No 26, pulled out due to injury.

The Austrian will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Julia Riera and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the No 6 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, Julia Grabher won against Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure (6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-2) and Cagla Buyukakcay (6-1, 7-6 (4)).
Trevisan benefited from the retirement of Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz (6-2, 0-0) and defeated Croat qualifier Jana Fett (7-5, 7-5) in the previous rounds of the Rabat Grand Prix.
