Romanian Anca Todoni beat Pole Maja Chwalinska 6-2, 6-4 to reach the last 16 of the Montreux Nestle Open on Monday.

Todoni, ranked No 136, will play the winner of the match between Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle, the top seed, and Andorra’s Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva next.
