Montreux Nestlé Open: Parrizas Diaz reaches semi-finals
Nuria Parrizas Diaz edged out Jil Teichmann 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 on Friday evening. She’ll play wildcard Petra Marcinko in the next round

Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz, the No 4 seed, edged out Swiss Jil Teichmann 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 to move into the last four of the Montreux Nestlé Open on Friday evening.
Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 100, will face wildcard Petra Marcinko next.
The 33-year-old Spaniard won against Frenchwoman Selena Janicijevic (6-0, 6-1) and French lucky loser Carole Monnet (6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Teichmann, ranked No 202, beat Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot (6-0, 4-6, 6-2) and Liechtensteiner lucky loser Kathinka von Deichmann (6-4, 6-1).
