Diane Parry won against Amina Anshba 7-5, 6-3 on Tuesday evening and will play Greek Despina Papamichail in the next round

Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the top seed, won against Russian Amina Anshba 7-5, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Montevideo Open at the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club on Tuesday evening.
Parry, ranked No 94, will face Greek Despina Papamichail next.
