Monterrey Open: Glushko makes second round
Lina Glushko defeated Kateryna Volodko 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 on Monday night. She’ll face the winner of the match between Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 9 seed, and Argentinian Nadia Podoroska in the next round

Israeli lucky loser Lina Glushko advanced to the second round of the Monterrey Open by winning against Ukrainian qualifier Kateryna Volodko 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at Sonoma Club on Monday night.
Glushko, ranked No 278, will face the winner of the match between Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 9 seed, and Argentinian Nadia Podoroska next.
