Monterrey Open: Dolehide makes second round
Caroline Dolehide defeated Jule Niemeier 6-1, 6-0 on Monday and will play the winner of the match between Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova and Czech Marie Bouzkova, the second seed, in the next round
American qualifier Caroline Dolehide advanced to the second round of the Monterrey Open by defeating German Jule Niemeier 6-1, 6-0 at the Estadio GNP Seguros on Monday.
Dolehide, ranked No 206, will play the winner of the match between Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova and Czech Marie Bouzkova, the second seed, next.
